As a middle school classroom teacher and elementary school administrator for 20 years, I taught over 1,000 students. Many of these kids were gifted, motivated, engaged, and practically professional students, and others were gifted out of the classroom and struggled to stay engaged, lacked motivation, and were under water much of the year. I loved connecting with these kids on the many trips to Israel I coordinated, when I mentored them in student council, and when I went out to the fields and courts to watch them shine. There was only so much I could do for each student in my previous roles. As an Executive Function Coach, I have found rewarding work as I engage one on one with students creating a plan to meet their specific challenges. As the skills we work on become more habitual and then intuitive, students learn more easily and are able to demonstrate their learning to the best of their ability. A weight or a fog is lifted as students are able to achieve and succeed. Seeing the pride and motivation that follows is the ultimate reward.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, I got the travel bug when I spent my junior year abroad. From Kenya to Morocco and Croatia to Vietnam, the world is beautiful and full of interesting people and animals to behold. Photography, friends, and family are my loves.
